Built hospitality

Architectural discussion on contemporary hotel architecture

The Jung Group is once again inviting you to its Architecture Talks in 2025. On Tuesday, April 29, the event format will be held in Frankfurt am Main for the 16th time. This year, the evening in the St. Peter's Youth Culture Church will be held under the motto "Built Hospitality". Architects from Bad Gastein and Berlin will talk about contemporary hotel architecture and sustainable hotel concepts between mountain and sea.

Those interested can look forward to meeting Danish-born Berlin architect and furniture designer Sigurd Larsen from Sigurd Larsen Design and Architecture, among others. His most recent, highly acclaimed hospitality projects include the Michelberger Farm in the Spreewald, south of Berlin. Architect Ike Ikrath from the architecture firm A.IK in Bad Gastein is also expected on stage. He not only works as a planner, but also runs several hotels in the Austrian spa and winter sports resort together with his wife - including the Hotel Miramonte, Haus Hirt and the Alpenlofts.

The evening will be hosted by Dr. Thomas Welter, Federal Managing Director of the BDA Association of German Architects.
