Built Hospitality

Architectural Conversation on Contemporary Hotel Architecture

In 2025, Jung Group once again invites guests to their architectural conversations. On Tuesday, April 29, the event series returns to Frankfurt am Main for its 16th edition. This year's evening at the Youth Culture Church St. Peter centers on the theme "Built Hospitality." Architects from Bad Gastein and Berlin will discuss contemporary hotel architecture and sustainable hospitality concepts between mountain and sea.

Among the speakers will be Sigurd Larsen, a Copenhagen-trained Berlin-based architect and furniture designer whose practice, Sigurd Larsen Design and Architecture, has garnered significant recognition. His recent work includes the acclaimed Michelberger Farm in the Spreewald, just south of Berlin. Also taking the stage is architect Ike Ikrath from Bad Gastein's A.IK studio. Beyond his design practice, Ikrath and his wife operate several hospitality ventures in this Austrian spa and winter sports destination, including Hotel Miramonte, Haus Hirt, and the Alpenlofts.

The evening will be moderated by Dr. Thomas Welter, Federal Managing Director of the BDA (Association of German Architects).
