"Best Workspaces Award 2025" presented
First Immune Office honored
Heads, Germany's first Immune Office, has been awarded the prestigious Best Workspaces Award 2025. This makes the Rock Capital Group's office project in Aschheim near Munich one of the best international office projects of 2025.
It takes years of planning and construction before an office complex is ready for occupancy. But when the property then delights people all over the world, all the efforts have been worthwhile. Five years after the start of construction, Heads has not only won over an international crowd of tenants, but has also received its fourth award, the Best Workspaces Award 2025. Andreas Wißmeier, Managing Director of the Rock Capital Group: "Winning the Best Workspaces Award 2025 confirms our concept, which not only offers a unique quality of stay, but also focuses on the softer side of work. A work-life fusion that innovative companies and their employees appreciate - and which has now been named one of the top projects of the year by a ten-member jury of experts."
The Best Workspaces Award is the first international architecture award for intelligent working environments and was presented for the first time in 2020. This year, for the fourth time, ten renowned architects, scientists and industry experts evaluated the submitted projects according to criteria such as design, innovation and sustainability. The Heads Office impressed with its state-of-the-art technology and visionary interior design, which was conceived in collaboration with the renowned architecture firms Ippolito Fleitz and Bargtied Design. With a high-tech ventilation and hygiene concept, 1,200 plants in green atriums, 14 roof terraces, the stylish in-house restaurant Hungry Heads and its own daycare center, project developer Rock Capital has created an office complex that is already redefining the way we will work tomorrow.
The Heads Office previously won the iF Design Award 2025 in the Interior Architecture category, the Real Estate Architecture Award 2024 in the Interior Design category and the German Design Award 2025 in the "Excellent Architecture - Conceptual Architecture" category. The 41,800 square meter property is now home to the Swedish company Essity, Crédit Agricole Leasing & Factoring S.A. - German branch, the US company Bourns Electronics, the German subsidiary of the US company Molex, the British chip manufacturer ARM, Bel Brands Deutschland GmbH and the leading German solution provider for digital patient care Meierhofer AG.
Heads is a real estate project of the Rock Capital Group in Aschheim-Dornach near Munich. Originally planned as Wirecard headquarters, the property is now the first Immune Office. In response to the risk of infection in the office, the four-storey building complex relies on a high-tech ventilation and hygiene concept. UV-C air sterilization units, self-opening doors and contamination-free heat recovery reduce the viral load for employees to a minimum. HEADS also has its own in-house app, a stylish restaurant, a daycare center, up to 760 e-charging stations for electromobility, 14 roof terraces and indoor greenery that brings the Amazon to Aschheim. The HEADS New Work concept thus places the building user at the forefront. The first tenants of HEADS are as colorful as the building's features: The property offers a new home to the Swedish company Essity, the French Crédit Agricole, Bourns Electronics, Molex Infor, the British chip manufacturer ARM, the French Bel Brands and the leading German solution provider for digital patient care Meierhofer AG.
