Anne-Sophie Mutter plays John Williams

Whether magical journeys to mystical places, epic battles in distant galaxies or mysterious explorations into long-forgotten realms - John Williams makes the visible audible in a wondrous way with his legendary compositions. In this art, the internationally acclaimed Anne-Sophie Mutter, a friend of the composer, is in no way inferior to him: With her radiant violin sounds, she presents musical worlds that invite you to marvel and dream in John Williams' Violin Concerto No. 2, composed especially for her, on Friday, August 29, at 7.30 pm in Wiesbaden Kurpark.

She will be supported by the renowned Royal Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Vasily Petrenko. The British orchestra, which has repeatedly wowed audiences with impressive soundtracks for video games, films and television, is known above all for its boundary-pushing interpretations. The best prerequisites, therefore, for bringing the cinematically powerful sounds of multiple Oscar and Grammy award winner John Williams to life in full splendor in Wiesbaden's Kurpark on this evening.

The concert takes place as an open-air event in all weathers. The seating is not covered.
